Please note that this activity is part of our ongoing efforts to upgrade Thuraya’s services and ensure stable and reliable network performance at all times. It involves upgrading the current Mobile Switching Centre (MSC). As a result, all circuit switch services delivered via Thuraya‑2, including Telephony, SMS, CSD and the narrowband packet (ThurayaGmPRS), will potentially be interrupted for approximately 60 minutes. The activity window covers pre-migration, actual migration, post migration and system monitoring. Rest assured, active connections of broadband packet services such as Standard-VBR, Streaming-CBR, MARBB, THURAYAIPM2M and customized broadband APN will not be affected. However, new connection requests may not be registered on the network. Any inconvenience caused by this activity is regretted.
