Additional Information: A voice and packet service degradation was detected on Thuraya 2 at 16:17 GMT on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The voice service was completely affected at 16:39 GMT. Thuraya’s operation and technical team immediately started troubleshooting, and partial recovery started at 21:57 GMT.
Service Completely Restored: 23:50 (GMT time), April 26, 2025.
Thuraya 2 voice and packet services have been normalized, and are continuing to be monitored to ensure that the services are completely and optimally recovered.
