Initial: 16:26 GMT (GMT time), August 27, 2024. A voice service interruption and packet service degradation was detected for Thuraya 2 on 16:26 GMT of August 27, 2024. Thuraya’s operation and technical team immediately started troubleshooting and partial recovery started at 18:24 GMT.
Service Completely Restored: 19:05 (GMT time), August 27, 2024. Thuraya 2 voice and packet services have been normalized, and are continuing to be monitored to assure that the services are completely and optimally recovered.
