Possible applications
The terminals have a handset, are robustly designed, and are intended for use in emergency call centers and for operation at sea. The devices can be operated as stand-alone units, serve as a self-sufficient telephone system via the integrated SIP server, or be integrated into an existing telephone system via SIP trunk.

The model range extends from one telephone line with low data transfer performance to three parallel lines and a data rate of 176 kbps.

Antenna installation
The antennas can be mounted up to a maximum distance of 500 m from the device, which is a unique feature in the satellite sector. The antenna cables have a diameter of only 7 mm up to a length of approximately 150 m, as long as the device is supplied with 24 V. This makes the antenna cables simple to install and therefore cost-effective. Pole-mount antenna brackets for masts with a diameter of 1.5“ or 2” are available for all devices.
GMDSS and accessories
Lars Thrane is currently the only certified manufacturer offering device variants with GMDSS emergency call systems. For deep-sea yachts and commercial shipping, this is an important unique selling point. Seawater-resistant power supplies (LT-2500 and LT-2200) are also available in different power ratings.
